This is on the door to my office here in SAN FRANCISCO. It all made sense when the Chinese subcontractors came to change the names on the doors. Look, you’re good at making the signs, but can’t you paste the text into Word and see if it complains before cutting??

oooh….the Achilles heel of spell check, correctly spelled yet wrong words. Of course, verb agreement should cover that. *sigh*
And grammar checks don’t work, either. This always chokes them, yet it is perfect grammar: “The girl the boy the dog bit hit cried.”
Robin is correct. I just typed that verbatim into MS Word….and there’s no little squiggly green line or red line for that matter. It’s showing that it’s correct. Wow. And we’re worried about *their* grammer! lol
Makes sense to me… a girl cried because she was hit by a boy who had earlier been bit by a dog.
That’s certainly an exotic way to phrase that, though
I’d recommend several dozen commas
Um, Hazel, wouldnt it have made more sense to contact him by email?
Looking forward to common sensing with you.
Sincerely,
Rusty Smith.
потрясающие идеи…нам перенять бы …великолепно.
I’ve seen signs with mistakes like this one around my university. Education fail.
