Well, we WOULD seat you, but there was this mixup at the bar, and, well, you have to eat on the floor.

My travelling companion and I argued about this one over and over - In Malay it reads, “Restaurant 9-1-1.” And in Chinese, it says something like “delicious food center.” However, the “center” is the same as in the Chinese for “world trade center” and my friend CJ INSISTS that’s a plane slamming into NYC on the left. Considering this was less than a year after 9/11, I wasn’t sure he was entirely paranoid. If anyone’s in the area, it’s right across the street from the Batu Caves outside of Kuala Lumpur. Or at least, it was.
