…Dirty Knees - Look at These!

Remember when they beat the Spazz in game 6? Those were the good old days.

the back of the Pulls shirt. Not sure what they were going for Neither were they.

And here’s the tag - that logo looks familiar, no? And what’d I tell you about the lucky numbers? They hold sway over the Chinese. The opposite is also true - a study a couple of years ago showed that Japanese and Chinese die more frequently on the fourth of any month, and especially more on 4/4. Why? Because “four” in their languages is a homophone for the word “death.” And because they’re superstitious as hell. I’m sorry - I thought this was the 21st century. My mistake, Torquemada.

From one of those retarded Hong Kong TV shows where they send high school dropouts to talk to waifish movie stars and singers. Then they overlay everything with wacky graphics, subtitles, and canned applause - a pale shadow of the insane japanese TV show. In this episode, the two hosts, dressed similarly, are painting a banner. The two girls stop and ask the guy, “What the hell?” he said, “What? It’s Don’t worry be Happy!” They said, “Sammy is a name, you idiot.” He rubbed his eyes and said, “I guess I was still sleeping.” When people from Hong Kong say they speak English, this is usually what they mean.

dunno if you can see it, but these are tiny crabs. real crabs. salted. in a bag. The last time I got little crabs at a party my girlfriend dumped me.

Very Interest. I’m still trying to solve the equation at the top right. So what does age plus three equal? I hope they give partial credit.

Just what I look for in a wallet : self-doubt.

this is a store on Clement in San Francisco. “Smile your looking” like an idiot.

So let me get this straight - It’s sate for unfrozen microwave and for reingeraior, but not for foames and browning element? Cool.

What happens when you sell that one Futon? And a word of caution: never trust a place that has “SALE” as part of the permanent signage.

WHQQPS.

How is remembering an obese giraffe going to solve my problem? Come back here and HELP ME.

This has to be wrong. I can already hear a bunch of you writing in to defend it. It may work as an equation, “two times a month’s rent” but it should really be “two months rent,” right? This is an apartment complex near SFSU. You’d think they’d have their shit together - then again, it is a state school. [update: Man it must have been late for me to leave off the apostrophe. I have been obsessed with this sign for weeks and I drop the ball at the eleventh hour? Man. Thanks to ‘Anonymous’ for complementing my idiocy. ]

if this wasn’t the best ramen place in the free world, I’d have been a pissed costomer when I showed up SIX minutes after they opened and had to wait an HOUR to be seated, and then they were out of my favorite dish. How do you say, “Soup Nazi” in Japanese?

UFO noodles - and underneath it does indeed say, “Unidentified Flying Object.” I’m guessing ALF is behind this. HA!

how do I know if I have Best Wringer Tank? And how much more will it efficience?

A box of Diet Coke that has some Coke Rewards points. Check out that heinous fine print on the inside. I’ve never seen anything like it - do they really expect us to read that?

here’s a straight-on shot - what huge balls they have. Print anything anysize anywhere and you can claim you warned people.

This is like the TI graphing calculator for Home Ec.

This place is in a strange intersection. Their only sign is on a briefly-visible side of the building. So they added a CURSOR pointing to the sign and it totally works. It caught my attention several times before I figured out why. A stroke of genius. But now I keep hearing Dora the Explorer say, “Smog Check, right!”

“Two month’s rent” should be “two months’ rent” — in other words, the rent of two months. I think they were using the apostrophe to pluralize “month.”
