When a Gorilla takes you to San Luis Obispo, not only do you go, you also plan for adventure.

The official drink of the famous Pozo Saloon, the Pozo martini. Yep, that’s beer with an olive.
The Pozo Saloon is famous - people even fall in love there.

Number one on Gorilla-X’s list of things that are always funny: Japanese Cowboys.
I have neither the words nor the emotional distance to accurately put how funny seeing these guys perform was. It was so hilarious I went past that to sheer absolute shock. All we could do was stare, mouths frozen in a painful smile and stomach achingly clenched. Good Times.
I thought I’d died and gone to heaven when we finally arrived at F. McLintock’s for dinner. This was the initial draw to come down at all. I was floored. I’ve had some really good steak in my day, but their Baseball Sirloin, cut “closer to the Filet area than normal Sirloins,” (according to Brian, the manager who reserved them for us) is easily in the top two or three steaks I’ve ever eaten. To me, it was close to even the Michael Jordan of meats, Kobe Beef. It’s worth the drive simply to eat there.
